Measure twice and buy once . . .

We want you and your dog to get the most out of your new dog bed from day one, so please ensure it is the right size for your dog. Currently, we only manufacture one medium size, with the bed base measuring 75 by 55 centimetres, which is suitable for collie and spaniel-sized dogs.

We hope to introduce a smaller bed in the new year for smaller dogs and cats. Please take the time to consider the correct size, as returning the bed can be costly.

Is the bedding included?

Yes, the bedding is included; however, you may wish to replace it with your dog's own bedding.

Are you bringing out a smaller version for smaller dogs and even cats?

Yes, we hope to do so in the new year, but for now, we just want to see how the one we have goes.

How do I introduce my dog to a new bed?

Introducing your dog to its new bed seems straightforward enough: You just plunk the bed down, and your dog will immediately curl up on it, right? But sometimes, dogs need a little encouragement. For instance, if they’ve never had a bed before, they might not understand the idea right away.

Here are some top strategies for introducing your dog to their new bed:

• Try rubbing your hands on the new bed or putting an old shirt on top of it. Your scent will help your dog feel comfortable with the       bed. Similarly, you can place one of your dog’s blankets on top of it, so they will recognize that the bed is theirs.

• Toys, treats, and praise can help your dog warm up to her new bed. See if you can catch it trying it out and tell it what a good dog it     is!

• Even if you eventually want the bed to end up in a particular spot, try getting your dog acclimated to it by placing it where it usually   likes to nap.

Once your dog understands that this new bed is a cosy place just for them, they’ll use it all the time!
